These products allow consumer connect and switch multiple AV devices easily, and virtually eliminates disconnecting and reconnecting of cables. RF-Link/Araneus USA has announced its success in 2.5 miles long range, outdoor RF A/V transmission on 5.8GHz wireless solution.

Fremont, CA. - RF-Link/Araneus USA (www.rflinkusa.com) proudly announced its engineering group has successfully completed test on its newly developed long range audio/video transmission by using its patented 5.8GHz RF technology. This development will be used on its outdoor security camera to assist user perform monitoring and recording at a remote area where wiring is not possible. Detail spec. is scheduled to be released in August - September time frame, and mass production will start afterwards.
